HC Deb 26 November 1984 vol 68 c374W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he intends to make a decision on the proposed and recommended designation of Corstorphine hill; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Ancram

My right hon. Friend will make his decision on the proposal that Corstorphine hill should be statutorily designated as countryside when he has received the views of the Countryside Commission for Scotland, his advisers in such matters, and has considered these together with the case made by Edinburgh district council.
