HC Deb 23 November 1984 vol 68 c304W
Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any charges of criminal damage have been brought against persons attempting to deface with paint cruise missiles and of defacing with paint soldiers' uniforms at the high security vehicle compound as a result of activities in the early hours of Tuesday 20 November at Longmoor Camp.

Mr. Giles Shaw

The chief constable of Hampshire tells me that no charges have so far been preferred as a result of incidents at Longmoor camp on 20 November. My right hon. and learned Friend was informed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence that there is no record of incidents as described by the hon. Member having taken place.
