HC Deb 23 November 1984 vol 68 c294W
Mr. Ron Brown

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if there are any plans to reduce the level of value added tax paid by registered charities, especially by homes for the elderly; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hayhoe

I have no such plans. I refer the hon. Member to my reply of 18 May, at columns 269–70, to the hon. Member for West Bromwich, East (Mr. Snape).
