§ Mr. MooreI regret that insufficient data are available from which to produce an estimate for the current financial year. Had profits on gilt edged securities in 1983–84 been subject to corporation tax, the yield would have been about £200 million, but this figure cannot be regarded as any indicator of the current yield.
