§ The Prime MinisterSince its inception in November 1981, there have been some 50 formal ministerial and288W official meetings held under the auspices of the Anglo-Irish intergovernmental council. The meetings have contributed to the development of good relations between the two Governments. The pattern of co-operation was set out in detail in the communique released after the Anglo-Irish summit meeting in November 1983, published as Command Paper 9094. During the past year, as made clear in the communique released after the recent summit meeting, this co-operation has continued.
