HC Deb 22 November 1984 vol 68 c249W
34. Mr. Freeman

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will broaden the categories of relatives of Vietnamese political refugees, now settled in the United Kingdom, who may be admitted to the United Kingdom so as to include all members of the immediate family.

Mr. Waddington

No. We already agree to the admission of the spouse and minor dependent children of refugees who are settled in the United Kingdom. All other applications are examined carefully on a case by case basis.
