Sir John Biggs-Davison

asked the Prime Minister if she will consider in advance of her forthcoming meeting with the Taoiseach, the recommendations made by the Macrory Report, on "Britain's Undefended Frontier", for the improvement of local administration in Northern Ireland on a basis acceptable to all sides of the community and for the maintenance of good relations with the Government of the Republic of Ireland; and if she will take into account the Kilbrandon enquiry into Northern Ireland and in particular the minority report of her right hon. Friend the Member for Guildford (Mr. Howell), Dr. Gillian Peele, and Dr. A. T. Q. Stewart, contained in chapter 13 of that report.
