§ Mrs. ChalkerOne driving examiner has been dismissed in the past four years—in July 1984—as a result of complaints about his conduct during driving tests. The examiner in question was not stationed in East Anglia.
§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) how many complaints he has received (a) nationally and (b) in East Anglia about the conduct of driving test examiners in each of the last four years;
(2) how many investigations into allegations of intimidation by driving test examiners have been carried out by his Department (a) nationally and (b) in East Anglia in each of the last four years.
