Mr. McQuarrie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has any plans to meet the president of the National Farmers Union Of Scotland to discuss the Government's proposed expenditure cuts on agriculture.

My right hon. and noble Friend, the Minister of State is seeing the president of the union today, and they will be discussing, among other things, the question of Government support for agriculture.
