§ Mr. Michieasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many licences have been issued under the Asbestos (Licensing) Regulations 1983 to organisations with three prohibition or improvement notices issued against them under asbestos-related health and safety legislation, with two and with one prohibition or improvement notices issued against them under asbestosrelated health and safety legislation.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe number of licensees who have had improvement and/or prohibition notices issued against them at some time for asbestos related offences is as follows:
- (a) 3 notices — 4 licensees
- (b) 2 notices — 5 licensees
- (c) 1 notice — 42 licensees
