§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the eligibility of the London borough 158W of Bexley and Greenwich for funding under the urban programme; and what is the eligibility of Knowsley borough council.
§ Sir George YoungGreenwich is a designated authority under the Inner Urban Areas Act 1978. Bexley is not so designated, but, like Greenwich may apply for funding under the "traditional" urban programme. Knowsley is a programme authority under the Act.
