HC Deb 20 November 1984 vol 68 c83W
Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many United States personnel have been disciplined for alcohol-related offences at the Greenham common airbase.

Mr. Stanley

This is a matter for the United States air force, but I understand that so far this year there have been no instances of USAF personnel being disciplined for alcohol-related offences whilst on duty at RAF Greenham common.

Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) when he expects the third, fourth, fifth and sixth flights of ground-launched cruise missiles to become operational at Greenham common;

(2) whether he will make a statement each time an additional flight of ground-launched cruise missiles becomes operational at Greenham common;

(3) whether a second flight of ground-launched cruise missiles is now operational at Greenham common.

Mr. Stanley

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Caernarfon (Mr. Wigley) on 13 November, at columns 224–25.
