§ Mr. WaldegraveI discussed this issue on 9 November with a deputation from the new towns committee of the Association of District Councils. I made it clear that I remain willing to consider constructive proposals for improvements in grant related expenditure assessments for individual services provided by local authorities with new towns in their areas.
