§ Mr. GoodladYes. Article III(a) of the United Kingdom/Japan "Agreement for Co-operation in the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy" (Cmnd. 3853) specifically provides that materials, including special fissionable materials, obtained under the agreement shall only be used for peaceful purposes.
