§ Mr. Hancockasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will consider revising the financial base on which the Open University operates, in particular the capital base for its professional and industrial updating programme.
§ Mr. BrookeMy right hon. Friend will be receiving advice from the Open University visiting committee on all aspects of the University's activities, including its PICKUP programme, later in the year. Any recommendations on this front, as on others, will be carefully considered.
