§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI have been unable to establish why press notice 303 was inadvertently left off the Central Office of Information news distribution list Nos. 121 and 122. However, I can assure the hon. Member that copies of the press notice were placed in the Lobby and were
30WNotes(i) The figures include rate rebates paid in respect of supplementary benefit recipients under the housing benefit scheme. The latter was introduced partially in November 1982 and fully in April 1983. Equivalent sums paid to supplementary benefit recipients under the previous arrangements are not included.
(ii) The figure for 1984–85 is the current public expenditure provision.
