§ Mr. Fletcher[pursuant to his reply, 14 November 1984, c. 243]: My right hon. Friend announced today that he had decided, in accordance with the advice of the Director-General of Fair Trading, not to refer this proposed merger to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission.
