§ 54. Dame Judith Hartasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will refrain from reaching a final decision on the issue of the United Kingdom's continuing membership of UNESCO until the House has had an opportunity to consider the matter.
§ Mr. RaisonI have already said that the Government will take into consideration the views expressed by hon. Members in reaching a decision on continued membership of UNESCO. The possible use of parliamentary time for this purpose is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Leader of the House.
