§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Solicitor-General for Scotland if he will arrange for the transcription of the shorthand notes of the John Preece Appeal Court hearing; and if he will place it in the Library.
§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandShorthand notes were taken of evidence given on 9, 10, 11 and 12 June 1981 at the Appeal Court in the case of John Preece. These could be extended at a cost of approximately £1,000. I am not persuaded that such expense is justified.
