§ Dr. Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what criteria he intends using to determine which groups are genuine voluntary sector groups for the purposes of approving funding under section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972 and the Local Government (Interim Provisions) Act 1984;
(2) by what criteria he will determine that it would not be expedient for a metropolitan county council to incur expenditure under section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972 as a result of fresh commitments entered into after 26 June which would fall due from 1 April 1985.
