§ 49. Mr. Sackvilleasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he is satisfied that the Commission's decision to refuse to finance Leeward Islands Air Transport's purchase of four British Aerospace super748s was taken according to normal EEC procedures.
§ Mr. RaisonThe Commission has not made any final decision on financing the super748s. I understand the airline submitted new evidence to the Commission on 7 November. I am confident that this will be reviewed carefully and the decisions taken in accordance with normal EC procedures.
