§ Mr. MacfarlaneI am considering the wide-ranging responses to our consultation paper on a number of possible changes to the General Development Order. Since issuing that consultation paper a report by the Countryside Commission on the future of the uplands has called for tighter planning controls over farm roads, and so on in upland areas. The recommendations in that report are also under consideration.
