§ Lord Kilmanyasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether, in view of the hope expressed on Page 6 of the Annual Report of the Deer Commission for 1983 that an order regarding the use of firearms will be laid before and approved by both Houses of Parliament in 1984, they will state when the draft order laid before the House on 21st June (Draft Deer (Firearms Etc.) (Scotland) Order 1984) will come before the House for approval; and whether any other such orders are anticipated.
§ The Minister of State, Scottish Office (Lord Gray of Contin)It is expected that the Draft Deer (Firearms Etc.) (Scotland) Order 1984 will be debated in this House on 27th November. Further orders will be brought before Parliament as circumstances require.
