§ Mr. Giles ShawNo such representations have been received, but the Independent Broadcasting Authority announced on 12 November as part of a package of measures to strengthen the financial foundations of independent local radio, that the authority would in future be placing a stronger requirement on ILR companies to take responsibility for their own affairs, particularly as regards diversification of activities.
