§ 29. Mr. Shersbyasked the Secretary of State for Defence what consultations have taken place with the trade unions concerning the proposal to close the AQD Laboratories at Harefield.
§ Mr. LeeThe agreed procedures were followed. The trade unions were informed of the proposal in writing and given an opportunity to comment and meet the official side. After some discussion the decision has now been made to withdraw the quality assurance elements.
