§ Mr. BrookeNone. The 1981 census identified students in full-time education, but not the type of institution attended.
However, information about the social classes of the parents of students accepted for universities through the Universities' Central Council of Admissions (UCCA) in 1983 was published in table E8 of the statistical supplement to its 21st report, a copy of which will be placed in the Library. Similar information has been published by UCCA since 1980.
