§ Mr. John PattenAs stated in a reply given on 31 October at column1085, this study was carried out by a research team based at the City university, as part of a programme of work financed by the Medical Research Council to analyse data compiled by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys.
I understand that a paper presenting some results from the study is to be published in a few weeks' time, in a medical journal. Ministers will carefully consider the findings once they have been published.
