§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsInitial examination of the urban development grant application in respect of the Tarmac proposals for comprehensive redevelopment in south Cardiff has now been completed. I am satisfied that the proposals are attractive and are worthy of further detailed consideration as to the level and terms of UDG support. Subject, therefore, to the appropriate statutory and legal procedures, the way is now open for the parties concerned to proceed with work on the development proposals while detailed negotiations take place on the grant.
