§ Mr. David MitchellI am pressing the case for liberalisation of air travel (including liberalisation of air fares) in the Council of Ministers and as the opportunity arises with individual Ministers in other member states.
I welcome the cheap excursion fares which are being introduced by the airlines between Britain and the Netherlands. I hope that the airlines on other European routes will reconsider similiar excursion fares and that the Governments concerned will encourage such fares.
