§ Mr. MacGregorIn real terms, that is to say deflated by the United Kingdom implied GDP deflator (1980 = 100), the value of agricultural exports to the countries at present in the European Community has risen from £936 million in 1973 to £1,464 million in 1983. This is an overall increase of 56.4 per cent., equivalent to an average percentage increase of 4.6 per cent. per annum.
