I have met the United States Secretary of Defence on seven occasions in the last 12 months—most recently at the meeting of the Defence Planning Committee in Brussels on 16 and 17 May.

I recently met Mr. Weinberger at the NATO Defence Planning Committee meeting in Brussels on 16–17 May. I have no immediate plans to meet him in the near future.
