§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Elton)There is close contact between the departments in considering applications for permission to work, and in cases where it comes to the notice of either department that a tourist is seeking or taking a job. However, the primary means of prevention is the control, at the ports, of persons seeking admission as visitors.
