Supplementary Benefits and Family Income Supplements

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will ensure that the book entitled, "The Law Relating to Supplementary Benefits and Family Income Supplements", continues to be available to all his Department's tribunal members.

As set out in the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Act 1983 (schedule 8, paragraph 8)" the availability of reference works for tribunal chairmen and members is a matter for the President of social security appeal tribunals and medical appeal tribunals.
