§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he has yet received a report from the Office of Fair Trading on its proposed code of practice for retail deliveries of solid fuel.
§ Mr. FletcherI understand that the Office of Fair Trading in conjunction with the Domestic Coal Consumers Council and certain local authorities is now undertaking a complaints survey before deciding whether such a code would be appropriate. In the meantime the codes of practices under the approved coal merchants scheme continue to apply.
