§ Mr. Nellistasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give a breakdown of the total number of pickets arrested in Scotland from 11 May to 17 May, inclusive, by police force area; and what information he has as to the nature of offences that those arrested have been charged with.
§ Mr. AncramFrom 11 May to 17 May 1984, both dates inclusive, a total of two arrests were made. One person, arrested in the area of Strathclyde police, was charged by the police with breach of the peace; the other, arrested in the area of Lothian and Borders police, was charged by the police with contravention of section 2 of the Explosives Substances Act 1883 in connection with the throwing of a petrol bomb.
