HC Deb 21 May 1984 vol 60 c312W
Mr. Stuart Holland

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether any consultations have taken place between Her Majesty's Government and the United States Government about the seventh replenishment of the International Development Association.

Mr. Raison

We have been in fairly regular touch with the United States Government and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State has recently written to Mr. Secretary Shultz urging early World Bank executive board approval of the seventh replenishment of nine billion dollars which was negotiated in January.
