§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Northern Ireland Office (Lord Lyell)The cost of running the Benefit Allocation Branch in the 1983–84 year was £435,000. These costs are met from the resources voted in Class X Vote 4 to cover the administration costs of the Department of Health and Social Services.
