§ Mr. Bowen Wellsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will provide additional funds for the aid programme for the joint funding scheme.
§ Mr. RaisonI have agreed, subject to parliamentary approval, to increase grant support for overseas development projects jointly funded with British voluntary organisations by one million pounds in the current financial year, from £2.59 million to £3.59 million. A large number of British voluntary agencies will benefit; Oxfam, Christian Aid, Save the Children Fund and the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development.
