§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThere is already a normal retirement age of 65 for doctors employed by health authorities. The question of a retirement age for general medical practitioners was raised by the Acheson report on primary care in London and is considered by the Government from time to time. We have not decided to make any proposals at the moment.
