HC Deb 16 May 1984 vol 60 c195W
30. Mr. Henderson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions his Department has had in the current year with Fife regional council about steps required to improve the safety of access and berthing arrangements at Pittenweem harbour.

Mr. John MacKay

At a meeting between officials of Fife regional council and my Department in October 1983 it was agreed that the council should investigate a scheme for Pittenweem harbour more modest than that originally proposed. There have been informal contacts with the council since then.
