HC Deb 14 May 1984 vol 60 c41W
Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, pursuant to his answer of 4 May, Official Report, columns 264–6, he is giving further consideration to the arrangements to be made in London for the transfer and disposal of solid waste materials; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Waldegrave

Our proposals for waste regulation and disposal remain as set out in Cmnd. 9063. As envisaged in the separate consultation document on waste disposal, my Department will shortly be inviting the authorities concerned to discuss future arrangements for London in detail.
