asked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) how many of the shipping conferences registered with his Department have loyalty agreements;

(2) what are the criteria required for shipping conferences to register with his Department;

(3) if he will list in the Official Report those shipping conferences registered with his Department.

There is no statutory requirement for shipping conferences to register their agreements with the Government.
