HC Deb 14 May 1984 vol 60 c57W
Mr. Marlow

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) when he expects to be in a position to reply to the questions for written answer on 13 April, relating to price charges to farmers arising from the settlement of the package of common agricultural policy prices for 1984–85; why he has not yet replied; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if he will make it his policy to reply to questions for ordinary written answer within a working week of the date for which the question is for answer; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Jopling

I apologise to my hon. Friend for the delay in replying to his questions of 13 April. I have answered them today. It is my policy to answer questions for ordinary written answer within a working week of the date for which the question is for answer although there are occasions when this is not possible.
