§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will consider reducing the £25 fee charged to those who are required to register with the police.
§ Mr. WaddingtonThe police registration fee is set at a level which will recover the full costs to the police of the registraton process and is reviewed regularly on this basis. The present fee, set in 1983, has been reviewed recently, and my right hon. and learned Friend has no proposals to change it.
