Mr. Proctor

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government concerning the development of the European Community in the next decade; if he will set out the areas in which the Government seek to achieve greater unity with particular regard to economic and political affairs; and if he will make a statement.

Both my right hon. and learned Friend and my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister have set out our policy towards the development of the European Community in a number of recent speeches in this House and in the country. I refer my hon.
