HC Deb 11 May 1984 vol 59 c493W
Mr. Hicks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many representations he has received in favour of the exclusion of temporary markets from the provisions of the general development order; and if he will modify his proposals in the light of these representations.

Mr. Macfarlane

The consultation paper on proposed changes to the General Development Order, published on 23 January, contained no proposals in respect of temporary markets. But representations seeking their exclusion from the provisions of the order have been received since then from six organisations; I am considering them.
