"Streamlining the Cities"

Mr. Merchant

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is now prepared to publish responses to the White Paper "Streamlining the Cities".

No. It is for those making responses to decide whether or not to make them more widely available. We have, however, placed in the Library of the House a two-stage report on the responses to the White Paper.

Mr. Cohen

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to produce the summary analysis of the main points arising in consultation on "Streamlining the Cities".
