§ Mr. RifkindOn 13 April the Ethiopian Government made oral representations to Her Majesty's ambassador at Addis Ababa about the forthcoming tour of South Africa by the Rugby Football Union. I am arranging for copies of an exchange of letters between Major General Joseph Garba, chairman of the United Nations special committee against apartheid, and Sir John Thompson, United Kingdom representative to the United Nations, and for press releases by the Organisation of African Unity to be placed in the Library.
