Mr. Lawler

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many staff, by grade, are employed by the Professional and Executive Recruitment Service; what are the costs of the service; and how many people were placed in jobs by the professional and executive recruitment service in each of the past five years.

At 2 April 1984 there were 307 staff employed in professional and executive recruitment. The table sets out the breakdown by grade of the 307 employees:
