§ Dr. BoysonThe main focus of the reviews will be social security benefits, but they will need to take account of the relationship between social security provision and other Government programmes and those of local authorities. The inquiry into the provision for retirement for example has already sought evidence on the balance between services and income in meeting the needs of the elderly in the community.
